Wen Jan 5th

We got up with great anticipation about the inflatable kayak. I called the phone number listed but got no answer, so I left a message. The boat was listed as being up in West Palm Beach, so we decided to head up there while waiting for his call. West Palm Beach is 40 miles north of where we live and we thought we could do some exploring while up there. It was 80 degrees at 11 am when we left the condo in paradise and began our exploration drive. We got up there and found several second hand stores, which we explored intensely. Around 1:30 I received a call from the boat guy telling me he had just sold the boat. Darn it! Well we are up here we may as well check out area better. We were driving towards the beach when we saw this cool looking place called the Key Lime House, and we had to see this place so we pulled in. We just ordered coffee and 1 piece of their "world famous key lime pie" to see if it was any good. It was good but the bill was 20 bucks. Ouch! How much was that pie? The place was built in 1889 and is one of the oldest places in town, or so they say. Here is a couple of pictures.

I also did this short video of the place

As we were getting ready to leave we passed the restrooms, which I decided to use before exiting, and much to my surprise, I found fascinating. I will let the picture and video speak for themselves.
I walked in and loved the urinal
We then drove to the beach up there and walked around looking for shells. It was in stark contrast to our beautiful beach in Deerfield. I had read, before buying our condo, that Deerfield beach was one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Florida and they were absolutely correct. Here are the West Palm Beach photos.

After visiting there, we wandered around for a while until we got hungry and found this tiki restaurant at Riviera Beach Marina, And decided to grab a bite to eat. There was a guy playing music, but he was finishing just as we sat down.

After diner it was getting late so we packed up our expedition and headed for the condo. We had to get home in time to watch Live to Dance with Paula Abdul. That was it for the day. Tomorrow is a day of rest I think. Who knows? We will find out.

  1. You didn't talk about your e-bay sales, but I was wondering how that was going. What exactly is your profit margin?
