I did not do a post on Monday because we did not do anything. We stayed in the condo and hung out all day in our pj's. It was 77 degrees and raining all day long. Now Tuesday was a different story. It was 82 degrees and sunny all day long. We got up around 9 AM, well I got up around 9AM, and ate a breakfast of toast and cheerios and toast with fresh squeezed orange juice. We then showered and got our swim gear on, packed our cooler and headed to the beach at 10:30. We Got our good parking spot and walked across the street to the beach. It was pretty crowded as this picture taken at 10:45 shows.
We sat in the sunshine for a while, but it kept warming up as it hit it's high of 82, and we found ourselves getting in the water every half hour or so. I ran down to the corner Subway and grabbed a 5 dollar footlong around 12:30 and ate on the beach. At 2:00 we took our gear to the car and decided to do the mile walk from one end to the other. It was really packed by then. I took these pictures from the south end of the beach.
We walked across the street to use the public restrooms and we liked the view so the Idea for this shot was born.
We went home, changed, and went to the fruit market to load up as we were critically short on fruit. After that we ran to the grocery store to pick up a few staple items we were short on. On our way home we had to stop by the dry cleaner to pick up a Juicy Couture Jacket we had picked up at a garage sale Saturday. After that we just relaxed at home watching television.
sounds like a very nice day to me. The beaches look wonderful. It is almost feb. already. Man, where has this past year gone. Time is going a little to fast for me. I need time to get squared around, and I am trying to do that. We had a good sermon on sunday, made me do a lot of soul searching. We really do assume and take a lot for granted, without giving thanks................OK, enough from me for now,,,,more to come
ReplyDeleteI want to be there so badly!!! Your day to day living is much, much different than mine was, when I lived there. Working really puts a crimp in fun, but it is so wonderful to live there!
