Thurs April 7th

We had a plan today to go look at a 07 prius down in Hollywood. Hollywood is between where we live and Miami. so we got dressed and headed down there to check out the car. Once we found the dealership we walked around the lot looking, but didn't see the car. So we went in to ask. It was already sold. Oh well. It was getting close to lunch time so we drove over to hollywood beach where we knew of this little restaraunt with some decent food.

Where is my Pina Colada?

Bonnie ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwich with a Pina Colada and I ordered a Tuna melt with a coke. (I had to drive) Once the food was consumed we wald down to the water and got our feet wet. The water has dramatically warmed up since I was in Iowa!

We decided to go home and go down to the beach. We didn't get home for about 2 hours because we stopped at a couple of goodwill stores. So we decided to swim in the pool instead. It was mid 80's outside and sunny.

Bonnie was chatting with this lady, I pulled out the camera to take a picture and she ran away. (well ran away as fast as an 80 year old lady can scamper) I actually started laughing out loud. We sat out for an hour or so then got dressed and went to the courtyard to check out the flowers. All the flowers are in bloom right now and it is very colorful down here right now.

We went back upstairs to prepare for Idol and wanted to eat first so we prepared some grilled cheese sandwiches (I am using the word WE very loosely, Bonnie prepared the grilled cheese) We then ate and watched the news waiting for Idol. Finally it was on!

After the show we sat around watching tv. We have made a plan to head to the beach tommorow as it is going to me 87 and sunny. I catch you tommorow night, right after I catch some waves tommorow afternoon.
