Tues April 5th

We got up around 9:30, grabbed some coffee, and sat out on the patio to plan our day. We really didn't have any pressing matters. So we decided to do what needed to be done...

Yup....I had gotten my hair cut in Iowa, and my surfer blond hair was nearly gone. So here we go again.
Gotta keep up the image down here. Now for the finished product. Do you like it or love it? Ryan Seacrest is ugly compared to me!

Now that this is done, we had an apatite built up by now, and I hadn't seen the ocean since I got back, so off to the beach we went. We were going to eat at the Pier cafe. We got down there right about noon. It wasn't real busy as it was kinda cloudy as a front was coming through and rain was forecast.

We walked down the beach to the cafe and ordered the egg and ham sandwich special. It was excellent, however I am not sure if it was the food that was good or if it was the view that made it taste so good.

After lunch we headed to the store to get a charger for my good camera. We did some shopping, got some groceries and headed for home as the sky was getting very dark and it was also getting very windy.
We got home and checked the weather on TV. This was the same front that caused all the damage in Tennessee and Alabama and the rest of the southern states. It went through fast and didn't do any damage here. Although it did give us some cooler weather. It was 92 at 2 in the afternoon and 77 degrees at 3.
After that we kicked back and watched a movie (Bruce Willis in Surrogates). After the movie Bonnie made us spaghetti and fruit and Jello for dinner.  We then watched the elimination round of Dancing with the Stars to finish off the day. I am getting sleepy....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
