Storage wars

Today we got up around 9 am. We were kinda excited as we had found some storage units were being auctioned of just up the road from us. We were gonna get our feet wet. But first, coffee and relaxation. After chilling out on the patio for a bit it was time to get ready. the auction begins at noon.

 Next its off to the storage place...We got there, went in and signed up, then back outside to wait for it to begin.

It was looking good, only about 8 people and it was already 10 minutes to noon. We waited, and waited. It was now 12:30 and some guy told us the auctioneer was tied up at another auction that ran late so it might be a while before he gets there. We were hungry, and there was a Wendy's across the street so we walked over and grabbed some fast food for lunch. We walked back over at 1 and still no auctioneer. We ended up chatting with these 2 guys that did this professionally and got some good stories told to us to help pass the time. 1:30 and a caravan of cars pulled in. I was wondering what was going on, when my new buddies told me they were more potential bidders following the auctioneer to this auction. Oh great....more competition. My buddies told me ever since the tv show...they were getting a lot more traffic at the auctions. We didn't buy any units, but it was cool watching it go down...

After the auction we headed over to Brandsmart, kinda like a huge Best Buy, to look for a new computer for Bonnie as her's took a dump. We ended up getting one of those I pad clones. Not sure if we like it or not, still figuring it out.

It was getting towards diner time and Idol was coming on soon so we had to whip up some supper fast. I took pictures as dinner was being prepared...

Yum..... We then watched American Idol and it was awesome. I got back on the computer to check on some new netbooks, as Bonnie wasn't sure she liked the new touch pad. I found a new netbook in china that was closing in 1 min 37 seconds for .99 cents with no bids so I bid on it. It is in China, but the guy has over 4000 feedback so I felt a little more secure in my bid. It cost me 29 dollars shipping and .99 cents for the Item, so if I actually recieve it, it will be a great buy...we shall see in the near future...I will keep you posted.
That was the bulk of our day in paradise....Buenos Noches amigos.....
