Sunday December 5th

We got up around 9am and ate toast and oranges. It was supposed to get up to 79 degrees today so we decided to go to the beach. We left home at 11:30 and went straight to the beach, got a great parking spot, grabbed our chairs and gear and walked to the beach.

We picked our spot and soaked up some sun. The beach was quite busy because another cold front is supposed to drop down on us tomorrow. Only supposed to get upper 60's tomorrow.

Around 1 in the afternoon we picked up dropped our gear in the car and decided to grab a bite to eat at Rattlesnake Jake's, a little sidewalk cafe and lounge right by the beach. We shared a chicken and steak fajita (very good) and a coke. While we were eating we heard some sirens so I jumped up wondering what was going on, and video taped this. Much to my suprise it was a firetruck full of santa clauses. LOL

After lunch it was around 2:30, so we decided to run down to the Sunday green market right up the street.
When we got there it was just getting over and the vendors were tearing down their booths so we were looking around the park and realized that the Deerfeild Island Park was on the other side of the grounds. It is a park on an island across the intercoastel that can only be accessed by boat. The county has a free shuttle boat ride on weekends, and as we were standing there the boat came up and the captain asked if we wanted to go. We were quick to jump on board and take the ride. By the time we got off the island it was 4 so we headed home to check out our e-bay listings as they were closing this evening. We had 6 items listed and 5 of the 6 things sold making us happy. Now we just have to wait for payments to be completed and we will ship everything out. We have another 8 items to list so I will get them on tomorrow. The garage sale / e-bay idea is working out pretty well so far. Hopefully we can keep it up. Over all it was a really nice day. Well it is time or bed...see ya tomorrow.
