Hello from the road

It's been a long time since my last post! I got asked to do some temp work for Select Comfort, so I have been doing some travel for them. We figured I wasn't doing anything anyways, so I may as well make a few bucks this summer. We will spend it this winter for sure! I got the call to do the Iowa State Fair, so I went to Des Moines to a motel in Ankeny...and worked a bunch of hours and sold $105,000 in 11 days.

Herky showed up and chased some customers off the bed!
My wife and Friends showed up to give me moral support

So after the Iowa State Fair was completed, I headed to Minneapolis for the Minnesota State Fair. It was 12 days long and I was already tired, so I figured this would be a brutal 12 days, and it was.

I ended up selling $145,000 in my time there, so it was the most I have sold in a show, and broke Aaron's record. (I hope he is reading this!) After the show was over I headed back to the cabin for 2 days and then flew to Denver, Colorado for a 3 day show, then to run a store for a few weeks while hiring and training a new manager.
I did the 3 day show, selling $25,000, and am now currently residing in a motel in Loveland, Colorado.

Bonnie is going to fly out here next Tuesday, and we are going to take a weekend trip up to Estes Park. It is only an hour from here and is an absolutely beautiful drive and place to visit. I will post some pictures on our return. That's it for now...I have to work in the morning.

  3. No, no, no. The record still stands! That $145k was done at the MN state fair, not the Iowa state fair. Be careful or next year I'll have to come up to MN and show you how its done. :)
